HARRY ROBINSON

Multi-platform journalist & storyteller

Self-shooting Producer

With experience using cameras such as the Sony A7S and FX3, as well as shooting on iPhones, I’ve produced short films, documentaries, match highlights, interviews and much more for Manchester United, BBC Sport and my own channels.

Letters from our fans

With Manchester United returning to action after a hugely disappointing Europa League final defeat, I wanted to create something that would help restore a positive connection between fans and players before the start of the new season.

Sourcing personal messages for each of the players, this project hit several key goals:

  • Create something meaningful and significant using only 30 seconds of each player’s time
  • Inspire the club’s supporters ahead of the new season
  • Emphasise the players’ human side, to improve player-fan relationships

Lifeblood: Meet the class of ’25

Young Academy players are exposed to media attention at an earlier age and to a greater extent than ever before.

This short film – part of the Lifeblood brand – aimed to introduce the players to media activity and help them own their own narrative before external media outlets told their story for them.

With a deliberate focus on the wider group instead of specific individuals, this met the needs of the Academy’s philosophy, the players, the players’ families and gave supporters unique insight into an often undercovered area of the club.
